Mission Statement
Westside Adventure Group (WAG) is a sports and recreation group of adults who love to be active and explore God’s beautiful mountains! We organize events such as hikes, barbecues, downhill & cross country skiing, snow shoeing, bowling, volleyball, canoeing, rafting, camping, short trips, horse back riding, pot-lucks, movie & game nights, plus a variety of other indoor/outdoor social activities. Everyone is welcome!

A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO WESTSIDE KINGS CHURCH FOR ALLOWING US TO USE THE PREMISE TO HAVE OUR CHRISTMAS PARTY!
Location: WKC located at 3939 – 69th Street SW, Calgary T3H 3Y1 (Off of Hwy 8 turn right on 69th then first right and left you will see the building. Go through main doors and hang a left!
Cost: $10 includes a full turkey and ham dinner with all the trimmings!
(If you are unable to get to me prior I will be collecting at the door your $10). I appreciate all those who have paid in advance which helps me out a lot since it is so busy the night of the party!
Bring: Gift to Exchange (minimum value $10)
Optional: Bring a small dessert or appetizer to share. Homemade is nice but store bought is fine! Please let me know if you will be bringing something then I can see how much we need to buy to add to what people bring!
Reserve early. There will be limited seating.
We will be setting up at 10am then other volunteers come at 4pm to cook and complete dinner etc. People who are helping to clean up stay afterwards to help out! Thank you in advance for all your help!
RSVP to Pam at pryan1 or 403 278-7839 – DEADLINE DECEMBER 17TH — I will not be taking any more confirmations after December 17th. Please DO NOT call me 19th or 20th. If you have a concern please email only! I will be extremely busy those 2 days!
Agenda: 5pm to 6pm – Meet and greet with appetizers & refreshments.
6:30pm — Dinner will be served. Menu includes turkey, ham, mash potatoes, dressing, sweet potatoes, veggies, salad, buns & dessert
7:30pm — Gift exchange
10:00pm — Wind up and clean up
Christmas has a way of reminding us of the things that matter most… the gift of love and the special way it shapes our lives… the gift of sharing and the closeness it creates… the gift of family and how wonderful it is! Merry Christmas!
